At AVA our artists are collaborating each month in character creation, music selection, and plot development. With every episode, they are learning through auditioning, rehearsing, and participating in remote recording under live direction — gaining real-world skills, creative ownership, and paid experience.

If you’ve always wanted to get into Voiceover, this class includes must know information like - what skills you need, equipment (and cost), information about the industry, the power of new technology, working globally from anywhere, and the many areas of voiceover!

WEDS -  3/25  2 PM EST - BYOS! (Bring Your Own Script) OPEN MIC WORKSHOP WITH INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK

Bring your own script! Any genre of your choice! (Animation, Commercial, Audiobook, etc) Please make sure scripts are close to one minute in length. In this session we blend Free and Membership students to provide a well rounded audience of like minded supportive talents!\

TUES  3/3  4PM ET - SETTING UP YOUR RECORDING SPACE Q&A

Join in for a discussion on the equipment needed for different types of projects. Learn about what is needed to record yourself, as well as what is needed when a studio records you remotely. Ask questions for yourself and your space specifically and learn how to get set up for recording success!

WEDS  3/4  2PM  ET - IMPROV GAMES

Come for an hour of fun and games as we practice our improv skills! Learning how to think on your feet as a voice actor will benefit you tremendously in your VO career - plus the games are a lot of laughs, so it's a great time!

Participants will spin a virtual wheel with various topics of interest.  We will spend as much time on the topic as needed and then spin the wheel again.  Coach Heidi will have tips and tools ready to share for all of the topics.
